On The Mark Press was founded by Ruth Solski. Ruth was a primary school teacher who had written her own lessons and curriculum for years. In 1986 she started S&S Learning Materials. S&S became an industry leader with it's variety of titles written to the Canadian curriculum. These products are rooted in Canadian history and culture.
In 2005 On The Mark Press merged with S&S to continue its unique and original content that consistently evolves to comply with the most current curriculum standards. Our workbooks and resources give you an edge for planning and implementing fun-filled learning into your classroom. They are jam-packed with fun, activity-based lessons with more focus on practical exercises rather than teaching instructions. These books can be used from start to finish, choose specific exercises or simply use them to stimulate creativity in the classroom.
We are proud to be your partner in taking an active role in making sure students meet national, state and provincial academic standards. Many of our books are guaranteed to meet these standards.
Whatever your educational needs we are here for you and your students, all with the insurance of a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
We acknowledge the financial support of the Government of Canada through the Canada Book Fund (CBF) for our publishing activities.
