3 letter word families are covered in this resource for each of the 5 vowels.
For each family, three parallel activities are included.
Lessons start with a simple printing exercise, followed by an exercise for the use of words in context to draw out meanings. Picture matching is used to enhance connections. The third activity focuses on deeper understanding and use of the words in context, spelling, and grammar skills.
A teacher guide with suggestions for extension activities is included.
