4. The Election: Your students will enjoy reading the story of Mr. Sander's teachings of the election process to Jonah and his classmates. Jonah applies his knowledge of the democratic process and voting with his family as they decide on Pino's Pizza or The Burger Shack. A creative writing lesson is also included.
