Additional information:

This fiction reading lesson is tailored to integrate language-based social studies content into their literacy time.

In Ms. Rolly's grade four class, the "TV Turn-Off Challenge Month" had been re-named "Get Hooked on a Book Month" because Ms. Rolly wanted her kids to read as many books as they could that month.
